Peppa Pig World

Updated: Sep 4

ree

What is every little Peppa fan's dream come true? A trip to see their favourite characters come to life! All three of my children adore Peppa Pig, and this adventure has been on our days out list for ages.

Where to Go

📍 Paultons Park, Ower, Romsey SO51 6AL

Important Information

💷 All visitors over 1 metre must pay an entry fee. You can save a few pounds by booking online! It’s £60 at the park or £45 for anyone over 1m. Tip: They measure most children, so I recommend measuring your child beforehand. They ask you to take smaller children out of their prams. Many families who hadn’t booked for their little ones ended up at the back of the queue to buy tickets at a higher price.

⏰ The park opens from 10 AM to 5:30 PM. Mornings can be quite busy, especially as most visitors head straight to Peppa Pig World. If your wee ones can wait, try exploring the other areas of the park first. You’ll find that Peppa Pig World is much less crowded in the afternoon.

🅿️ Parking is free!

🚾 There are disabled toilets and baby-changing facilities in both male and female restrooms. All toilets come with interchangeable toddler seats, which are perfect for little bottoms.

☕️ You’ll find plenty of food options inside the park. We also brought our own picnic, and there are loads of picnic benches and green areas to chill out.

♿️ They offer a Queue Assist Pass that you can book in advance. Just remember to bring proof of an Access Card ID to avail of this.

Discover Paultons Park

Paultons Park is easy to find! The car park is spacious and just a short walk from the entrance. If you’ve pre-ordered your tickets online, you can head straight to the entrance. But remember, Paultons Park isn’t just about Peppa Pig World! While most visitors seem to flock there, the park is divided into several themed worlds: Peppa Pig World, Tornado Springs, The Lost Kingdom, Critter Creek, and Little Africa.

There’s even a whole dinosaur-themed land and a small zoo with penguins and flamingos! With splash pads, playgrounds, and over 70 rides and attractions, there’s something for everyone of all ages. You could easily spend two days exploring!

Peppa Pig World: The Main Event

Peppa Pig World is a riot of bright colours, lively music, and gentle rides. Step inside Peppa Pig’s house, take a ride in Daddy Pig’s car, hop on Miss Rabbit’s helicopter, or board Grandpa Pig’s little train. There’s even a muddy puddle-themed water splash park, an indoor soft play area, and an outdoor play park!

All the rides in Peppa Pig World are suitable for everyone, except for George’s dinosaur ride, which has a minimum height requirement of 85cm. They advise that the rides are unsuitable for children under 12 months, but little ones can ride with an adult.

If you’re planning a visit, there are plenty of hotels and campsites near Peppa Pig World and Paultons Park. Getting There from Northern Ireland

The easiest way to reach Paultons Park is via Southampton Airport, the closest airport to the park, which is just a short 15-minute drive away. You can fly from both City with Aer Lingus or International with EasyJet to Southampton Airport. I recommend staying close to Peppa Pig World if you’re doing a short trip and using a taxi. Paultons has partnered with Radio Taxis of Southampton to offer standard taxi rates to and from the park. If you’re staying in Southampton, there’s a bus from West Quay that takes about 30 minutes.

If you’re extending your stay, there are so many lovely places to visit nearby. You could even hire a car from the airport for more adventures!

Overall Experience

This has been one of the BEST days out! It really isn’t your usual theme park. With calming and stunning grounds, plus a great mix of rides and activities for all ages, I was pleasantly surprised by how much more there was to do than just Peppa Pig World.

So, pack your bags and get ready for a day of fun and laughter at Paultons Park!
