What is every little Peppa fans dream come true? A trip to see their favourite characters come to life. All 3 of my children are fans of Peppa Pig and this has been on my days out list for a long time.
WHERE
📍 Paultons Park, Ower, Romsey SO51 6AL
INFORMATION
💷All people over 1metre have to pay entry fee. You get a significant discount if you book online. It’s £60 at the park or £45 for anyone over 1m. TIP- They measure most children, I would advise measuring your child before. They ask you to get smaller children out the pram. There were lots of people in the park who hadn’t booked for their smaller children and were then sent to the back of the queue to go and buy them a ticket and pay the more expensive price as on the day.
⏰10-5:30pm It is very busy in the morning most people head straight to Peppa Pig world my tip is to do the other parts of the park first (if your wee ones can wait) and then in the afternoon Peppa Pig world is a lot less busy.
🅿️Parking free
🚾Disabled toilets & baby change in both male and female toilets. All toilets have an interchangeable toddler seat which is great for little bottoms.
☕️ There were plenty of food options inside the park. We also brought our own picnic and there are loads of picnic benches and green areas to chill out.
♿️ They offer a Queue Assist Pass that you book in advance. You need proof of an Access Card ID to avail of this.
Paultons Park

Paultons Park is easy to find, the car park is big and just a short walk from the entrance. If you have pre ordered your tickets online you can head straight to the entrance. Paultons Park is not just Peppa Pig world. All though most people seem to be there for the Peppa Pig Aspect. The park is split into themed worlds: Peppa Pig World, Tornado Springs, The Lost Kingdom, Critter Creek and Little Africa. There’s a whole dinosaur-themed land and even a little zoo with penguins and flamingos. With splash pads, playgrounds and over 70 rides and attractions, there is loads to see for every one of all ages, definitely something that you could do over 2 days.
Peppa Pig World

Our main event…
Peppa Pig world is bright colours, loud music, and slow rides. Step inside Peppa Pig’s house, travel in Daddy Pig’s Car ride, Rode on Miss Rabbits Helicopter or hop on board Grandpa Pig’s Little Train. There’s a muddy puddle based water splash park, an indoor soft play area and an outdoor play park. All of the rides in Peppa pig world are suitable for everyone, except George’s dinosaur ride which has a minimum height of 85cm. They advise that the rides in Peppa Pig World are unsuitable for a child under 12 months old but they can ride with an adult.
Where to Stay
There’s plenty of hotels and campsites near Peppa pig world and Paultons Park. If you book via their Official Paultons Breaks programme they offer the second day for free. You can also check Airbnb for local places if you have the use of a car. Here are some places to stay perfect for a fun-filled family weekend visiting Peppa Pig!
Premier Inn Southampton West
A convenient location and is a great choice for a one-night stay close to the park, it’s only 2 miles from the park so this one is just a 5-10 minute drive.
Holiday Inn Southampton West
Another Brilliant choice for families wanting a hassle free hotel stay close to Paultons Park just 5 miles away from the park so it’s an easy 10 minute drive.
Away Resorts, Sandy Balls Holiday Village
On the edge of the New Forest, Hampshire about a 20 minute drive away. This is a great place for a stay with a range of on-site amenities such as indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as activities and entertainment for the kids.
Oakdene Forest Park
Oakdene Forest Park is only 25 minutes drive from Peppa Pig World. Offering luxury caravan accommodation, alongside fun facilities such as an indoor swimming pool with flume, outdoor activities and nightly entertainment.
Getting there from Northern Ireland
The easiest way is to Southampton airport which is the closest to Paultons Park and a short 15 minute drive. You can fly from both City with Aerlingus or International with Easyjet to Southampton Airport . I would recommend staying local to Peppa Pig world if doing a shot trip and use a taxi. Paultons have partnered with Radio Taxis of Southampton to offer a standard taxis rate to and from the Park. If staying in the city of Southampton there is a bus from West Quay direct which takes 30mins.
If you’re extending your stay there are so many lovely places to visit nearby you could hire a car from the airport.
Overall
This has been one of the BEST days out, it really isn’t your usual theme park. With the calming and stunning grounds and a great mix of rides and things to do for all ages. I was surprised how much more there was to do than ‘just’ Peppa Pig world.
