Data Protection Policy

The General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) places obligations on organisations and individuals who process personal information or data and requires that, unless they are exempt, they must pay a Data Protection Fee. Wee Adventurers Play Hub is committed to processing data in accordance with its responsibilities under the GDPR. Article 5 of the GDP requires that personal data shall be:

  1. Fairly and lawfully processed (obtained, recorded or held)

  2. Collected and processed only for specified and limited purposes.

  3. Adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary.

  4. Accurate and where necessary, kept up to date.

  5. Not kept for longer than necessary and kept up to date.

  6. All information will be stored securely.

  7. By following the procedures stated above I will remain exempt from the legal requirement to pay a Data Protection fee.

 

We Adventurers Play Hub want to ensure that private information about clients, employees, partners and our company is well-protected. We shall:

  1. Restrict and monitor access to sensitive data.

  2. Develop transparent data collection procedures.

  3. Train employees in online privacy and security measures.

  4. Build secure networks to protect online data from cyberattacks.

  5. Establish data protection practices (e.g. secure locks, data encryption, frequent backups)

  6. Lock or secure confidential information always.

  7. Shred confidential documents when they’re no longer needed.

  8. Only disclose information to other employees when it’s necessary and authorised.

  9. Keep confidential documents inside our company’s premises unless it’s necessary to move them.
