What You'll Find

If you're looking for a family day out that has a bit of everything, Pickie Fun Park is hard to beat. Sitting right on Bangor's beautiful seafront, it's one of those places you can easily spend a whole day without anyone getting bored.

The huge adventure playground is free to use and has equipment for a range of ages, with climbing frames, swings, slides and plenty of space for little ones to burn off energy.

During the warmer months, the splash park is always a favourite, so don't forget to pack a towel and a change of clothes—you'll almost certainly need them!

For even more fun, there are lots of paid attractions including:

  • The famous Pickie Puffer miniature train

  • Swan pedal boats on the lake

  • Crazy golf

  • Bumper boats

  • Electric rides and children's attractions

The park is well laid out, making it easy to move between attractions, and there are lots of picnic benches and grassy areas if you'd rather bring your own lunch.

Being right beside Bangor Marina also means you can enjoy a lovely walk along the waterfront before or after your visit.

For the Grown Ups

Parents will appreciate that everything is close together, so you're not constantly trekking from one end of the park to the other. There are toilets, cafƩs, ice cream stops and plenty of seating throughout.

If you've got younger children having a nap in the buggy, the marina walk is perfect for a peaceful stroll while older siblings explore with another adult.

The views across Belfast Lough are beautiful too, making this one of those days out that's just as enjoyable for adults.

Why We Loved It

āœ…We love that Pickie Fun Park offers something for every budget.

āœ…You can enjoy a brilliant day using the free playground and splash park, or add a few paid attractions if you fancy making the day extra special.

āœ…It's the kind of place where families can stay for an hour or happily lose an entire afternoon.
