Peatlands Park

🍂Named Peatlands park as the peat here has been forming for about 10,000 years.  16km of paths leading you through the various habitats within the park.

🥾We love the boardwalk trail going through the bog (all the trails here are pram and wheelchair accessible

🛝A play park suitable for all ages. With climbing walls, mounds, tunnels and swings.

🦡See if you can spot insects such as butterflies, moths and dragonflies. Or one of the many woodland animals like birds, badgers and hares. At the bog look out for lizards and newts. Bring some bird seeds to feed the ducks.

🛤A mini railway used to be in operation but you can still enjoy playing on the platform.

🍦Grab a coffee or an ice cream from the van, open all summer.

ℹ️Free parking and accessible toilets onsite. Plenty of picnic benches available
