The recently refurbished Beachlands Play Park has a fun seaside theme with modern climbing equipment, swings, slides and inclusive play features, making it a fantastic place for children of all ages to explore.
Just beside the playground is Carnlough Beach, a lovely stretch of sand and shingle where little adventurers can paddle, skim stones, search for shells or simply enjoy running along the shoreline. The beach is sheltered by the bay, making it a peaceful spot to spend a few hours.
For the Grown Ups
Grab a coffee from one of the local cafƩs before taking a stroll around the picturesque harbour, famous as a filming location for Game of Thrones.
There are plenty of benches overlooking the sea, making it the perfect place to relax while the kids burn off some energy in the park.
