Lough Shore Park

Updated: Mar 14

💚Lough Shore park in Antrim is on the shores of Lough Neagh. You can make it a full family day out with lots to do here.

⛵️A nautical themed play park with the focal point of the play area; a large ship, which also has wheelchair access. With plenty to keep the wee ones entertained with a tall tube slide, swings, see saws and plenty to climb.

🌳 With attractive surroundings you can trek the edge of the Lough through Rea’s Wood check out some Game Of Thrones information and sit on the throne.

🏰Take the River Path that leads to Antrim Castle Gardens & Clotworthy House with historic 400 year old gardens. With plenty to see including, the Large Parterre, the Yew Tree Pond and the Pleasure Gardens.

👩🏼‍🍳Dine in at The Boathouse Antrim with panoramic views of Lough Neagh and a fantastic menu suitable for the whole family.

🧺There are Plenty of picnic benches and pods to use. (I’d recommend a pod as the birds were after our dinner)

⛺️Want to make a weekend of it. There are camping and caravan facilities at Six Mile Water caravan park. The park is open everyday from the start of March until the end of October, and weekends only during the months of February and November.

ℹ️Parking is free and accessible toilets and baby change available in the Gateway Complex
