Enniskillen Castle is situated in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. On the banks of the River Earne itās a lovely castle to walk around.
The castle has had a long and varied history; originally built in 1428 as a medieval stronghold, it has been used as a plantation castle and, more recently, as military barracks. However, today it houses several fascinating museum exhibitions and galleries.
