A small and friendly zoo situated in the beautiful countryside near Clough, Co. Down. Mountpanther isn’t just your average petting zoo, it’s a full-on sensory safari for little explorers.

What a delightful place, an excellent day out for families and so child friendly. The park has so many different and unusual animals, including lemurs, llamas, meerkats, parrots, wallabies, monkeys and more. You can feed and cuddle some of their animals including, goats, rabbits and lemurs.

We enjoyed wandering around, finding lots of animals and playing in the different play areas dotted about to keep the wee ones busy. With jumping pillows, a play barn, go karts, large sandpit, climbing frames and slides. There is so much choice. Don’t forget to book to go on the tractor ride to get up close to their deer heard.

There is a small cafe onsite and plenty of picnic benches too, so don’t be afraid to bring your own supplies if you’re in full thrifty explorer mode.
