What You'll Find

If you're looking for a family day out where the kids can burn off plenty of energy while getting up close to animals, Mountpanther Farm Park is a fantastic choice.

There's a brilliant mix of outdoor adventure, indoor play and hands-on animal experiences, making it a great option whatever the weather.

Children can enjoy:

Meeting and feeding farm animals including goats, sheep, alpacas, llamas, pigs and donkeys.

Visiting the petting barn and reptile room where they'll find everything from rabbits and guinea pigs to snakes, parrots, meerkats and even marmoset monkeys.

Taking the popular Deer Safari (available during the spring and summer months for an additional charge), where you'll ride through the deer enclosure, learn fun facts and even hold a real deer antler.

Massive outdoor play areas with climbing equipment, slides and swings.

The giant jumping pillow – one of the biggest outdoor highlights and always a favourite with energetic little adventurers.

Ride-on tractors, a miniature play village, go-karts and a huge sandpit that younger children will happily spend hours exploring.

Indoor soft play and bouncy castles, making this a brilliant all-weather destination.

For the Grown Ups

The café serves hot meals, children's meal deals, coffees, traybakes and cold drinks, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available.

One thing we really liked is that you're free to spend the entire day here. There's no rushing around trying to fit everything into a short time slot, so children can revisit their favourite areas as often as they like.

There are also plenty of picnic benches throughout the park if you'd rather bring your own lunch.

⭐️Arrive close to opening time to make the most of your day.

⭐️Book your Deer Safari as soon as you arrive if you'd like to do it, as spaces can fill quickly during busy periods.

⭐️ Wear comfortable shoes, there's lots to explore.

⭐️Bring sun cream on warm days as many attractions are outdoors.

⭐️Pick up some animal feed when you arrive so the children can enjoy feeding the friendly animals.

Mountpanther Farm Park is one of those places that genuinely has something for everyone. Whether your little ones love animals, climbing, bouncing, racing go-karts or simply running around outdoors, they'll leave happily exhausted.

The combination of indoor attractions, outdoor adventure, exotic animals and traditional farm favourites means it's a destination we can happily recommend for a full family day out in County Down.
